Hola. My first week has been exhausting but good. I don´t understand a lot but it is coming and speaking is a little easier. One thing that was really exciting was that we were able to find ten new investigators in one day and they all seem really interested. I think the most challenging thing so far has been trying to concentrate on people when I am tired and actually understand what they are saying or adjusting to the food and the nausea that comes with that. But I am doing good. I love all the plants it´s so green here and not as humid as I thought it would be but sometimes it rains so hard if you don't have something to protect you, then you are drenched within seconds and it goes on for a while sometimes. Oh and the first day here we were out when it started to rain and we went in visited with a member and she gave us hot chocolate it was great! It´s pretty fun singing hymns with people. We sing every time we visit someone. The craziest thing that I have ea...

July 9, 2018 Buenos Dios mama! The Spanish is coming but it is really hard to understand people sometimes. Time has really flown by I can't believe that I have been out here for two weeks and on a mission for almost two months it is crazy! Sorry, my email didn`t have much detail last time I was a little sick but I am feeling a lot better and haven`t really felt nauseous since the afternoon of last week. When I ate the fish I helped clean, we had gone to visit one of the places in our area that is a little poorer than the city that we are staying in. It has dirt roads and no indoor plumbing but they had I think it was a well in the back with a sink and the family was cleaning fish. So we volunteered to help. It was pretty cool but gross at the same time because the scales flew back at me some of the time. but it was fun. One of the ladies fried them and after we washed up we helped make tortillas. They were like really thick corn tortillas it was pretty fun. Then we all ate tog...

July 16, 2018 Well, I am going to email a bit about the last little bit in the MTC I know that it's kinda backward but I have been meaning to do it for the last two weeks so here it is. Our last class was really cool we all had been given questions of another person in the class and we spent a little time answering them. It was really cool I am so glad that our wonderful teachers had us do that. Then at the very end, we all shared what we had learned and the thing that stuck out to me the most in the MTC is that it is all about love. The first part of the first lesson is God is our loving Heavenly Father and everything else we teach is because of that. Jesus agreed to be our Savior because he loves is and we would be lost without him! After we all took a picture together. The two in the middle are our teachers Hermana Theobald and Hermano Lyon they are the best! (I am having trouble getting her pictures at the moment, so no picture here.) The last week I was in the ...

May 16 Sarah left this morning for the MTC in Provo. We saw her through the gate and waited for the email that told us she had arrived safely. Before she even left Phoenix, I was blessed with a picture of her and the other missionaries leaving with her. May 19 Hola! The last few days have been amazing but really crazy! I missed the shuttle in the morning along with thirteen other Sisters and Elders heading to the MTC so we had to wait until 1:00 but it turned out okay. We sat and talked, getting to know each other it was pretty cool. There was a big group from Canada and some from Washington and some from Texas and almost all of us are going to different missions it was really interesting getting to know all of them. One of them did wind up getting a ride with a friend but at that point, we didn't have much time left to wait. So at about 12:30 the shuttle arrived to get us but they didn't have a trailer because they weren't expecting so many of us ...
