Buenos Dios mama! The Spanish is coming but it is really hard to understand people sometimes. Time has really flown by I can't believe that I have been out here for two weeks and on a mission for almost two months it is crazy!
Sorry, my email didn`t have much detail last time I was a little sick but I am feeling a lot better and haven`t really felt nauseous since the afternoon of last week. When I ate the fish I helped clean, we had gone to visit one of the places in our area that is a little poorer than the city that we are staying in. It has dirt roads and no indoor plumbing but they had I think it was a well in the back with a sink and the family was cleaning fish. So we volunteered to help. It was pretty cool but gross at the same time because the scales flew back at me some of the time. but it was fun. One of the ladies fried them and after we washed up we helped make tortillas. They were like really thick corn tortillas it was pretty fun. Then we all ate together. They are pretty poor but they are happy and super loving. It was really cool to serve them. My area is one of the nicest areas. We live in a house with three rooms but they are pretty small. We can hardly fit two beds in one but that just means we have a whole room for our closet so that is kinda nice, We have a little kitchen and a study area and we have a bathroom probably about the same size as the ones in our house, but no hot water which I miss more than I thought I would. Haha. There aren't any mountains super close but it is pretty hilly. So far I have been able to find everything that I need and we have a grocery store that we go to.  It`s not super huge but it has everything that we need as far as I can tell. The weather is pretty hot but not as hot as Arizona and the humidity isn`t too bad. There are trees literally everywhere! One thing that I saw that I thought was kinda funny was in this really green path full of bushes and trees and all kinds of plants some that I haven`t ever seen was a cactus. I totally wasn`t expecting that.
So I realized I totally didn`t describe my companion well last time. She not only speaks English but is from Utah. Haha. But she does fit in here pretty well I think because her mom is from Chile. she is super driven and talkative and full of energy. The people we found are really good but we haven`t been able to teach them much because they aren't at home very much so that stinks but we have met more people since and that is good. One thing I love is all the butterflies I see here. It is wonderful.
 Have a great week!
